1. Installation

WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → select the .zip file → Install → Activate.

2. Getting an API Key

This plugin requires you to bring your own AI API key. You only need one of the following:

OpenAI: platform.openai.com → API Keys → Create new secret key
Anthropic (Claude): console.anthropic.com → API Keys → Create Key
Google Gemini: aistudio.google.com → Get API Key

Note: each provider bills you directly based on your usage. This plugin does not add any markup or charge for AI usage.

3. Connecting Your Key

GEO/AEO menu → Settings → choose your AI Provider → paste your API key → Save Settings.

4. Activating Your License

GEO/AEO menu → Settings → paste your Envato Purchase Code (found in your Envato downloads under "License Certificate") → Save Settings.

5. Using the SEO Analyzer

Open any post or page in the editor. Scroll to the "PreferRank" box below the content editor. On the SEO tab:

Enter a focus keyword (optional)
Click "Run SEO Analysis" to see title, meta description, heading, and readability checks
Click "Generate with AI" to auto-generate a meta title and description

6. Using the GEO/AEO Readiness Score

On the GEO/AEO tab, click "Run GEO/AEO Check". This scores your content on signals that AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) favor when selecting content to cite: structured data, FAQ/Q&A formatting, direct-answer openings, heading clarity, and scannable lists/tables.

7. Adding Structured Data (Schema)

On the Schema tab, choose a schema type (Article, FAQ Page, or How-To). For FAQ, add question/answer pairs using "+ Add Question". Click "Save Schema" — the plugin will automatically output valid JSON-LD in your page's <head> when the post is published.

8. Troubleshooting

"No API key configured" error: Re-check Settings and re-save your key.
AI response could not be parsed: Simply click "Generate with AI" again — occasionally the model returns non-JSON output.
License not activating: Confirm your purchase code is copied exactly from your Envato license certificate, with no extra spaces.
